S~X tracking the shadow

It's just that we weren't quite satisfied with all of
us being shadows in the cave. We are not feeling Young
these days. What, with the winter of our discontent
made more savage in these rheumatoid joints by a
heartless Mayor, and those hunger striking winds
blowing dying breaths from friends in New Jersey. But,
if we must be stupid, unconscious, archetypal saviors
or shadows, well
for all the damage we may cause
when unrecognized, we shall be shadows.
Confronted in the light of consciousness we will
stretch out our finger and point the way to an
integrating savoir. All that is repressed by the
highly constricted conscious attitude of humorless
snitches and their family attorneys will dance at the
feast of fools.
Sly, amoral, protean, anarchical, we shadows are
exposing to the light the limitations of a humorless
consciousness too circumscribed to integrate the holy
whole and solely soul of the matter and spirit of it
all. We shadows have been on the hill where the
solemnity of rigidified pricks are mounted on Asses
and sent into the valley of the shadow of fearing no
evil and where persecution gives birth to magic
desires.
Scoffed at for our self satisfying antics, our public
duties include writing bad poetry and purging it.
