Mr. Loftus is "credentialled" in this area........the article I provided 
makes use of historical facts to make its  case.......I cannot 
understand why you labor the "spin" argument....

In brief, the flirtation began with Prescott Bush's father (actually his 
in-law, I think) using his financial operations to facilitate Nazi 
evasion of embargoes. Hence the actions against the divisions of 
BBH......it continues, as described by Loftus, in the post war 
period - with further assistance from Bush, likely directed by  
Dulles and Harriman, to the Thyssen family........I am not prepared 
to claim that Poppy's problems with neo-nazis on his campaign 
staff, in 1988, was directly related to his father's and grandfather's 
activities - but I find the incident telling with respect to Poppy's 
loyalty to some of these characters.......

However, if I describe it in my own words, you will accuse me of 
spin.....if I offer readily available cites from the web, you will call it 
googling.....

will you at least tell me what you consider "credible" evidence - and 
I will try to oblige.....and please, don't ask for a NYT ref. to the 
vesting actions - I've already checked and they were not 
reported....what was reported however, was that Prescott was 
appointed to head the War bonds sales effort nationally - stinks of 
redemption to me........
