...are always welcome because, wherever they originate
they always touch on, illuminate, put in perspective
something specific to a Pynchon text or to a P-list
discussion thread, and I hope he continues to alert us
to (and excerpt from) articles he thinks might
interest at least some of us.

Of course on Pynchon-L, no good deed goes unpunished,
so it's likely that people who have nothing better to
contribute to the discussion are likely to continue to
throw rocks at those who share the fruit of their
research and reading. I'll gladly trade you one Dave
Monroe for 50 such as Malignd and 100 of Terrance's
personae (assuming there's any real distinction to be
made among those two categories).

Meanwhile, back to the discussion of "Entropy" which
JBFrame has launched for us.
