My teen-aged son and his high school classmates see
through Bush's bullshit -- the same way a teacher's bs
is transparent -- and are by turns scared and
outraged.  That's why they took to the streets as part
of that crowd of 200,000 who marched against the war
in SF a week ago Saturday. 

I hope we can manage to stop Bush before he butchers
too many of our kids and Iraqi kids, and the rest of
the people who are already dying and who will die in
his war on Iraq, the way he did in Afghanistan, the
way his dad did in Iraq beginning a decade ago.  That
Bush can do this and his family can profit from it (as
the Bush family -- and other captains of finance and
industry -- apparently did in WWII) is shameful.
Somebody ought to write a novel that exposes the way
capital and corporations manage to cross national
boundaries and cooperate to profit from the War that
never ends and the death and suffer that the War
brings.
