Not evil, but spectacularly failing to practice what he preaches. It all
blew up after (I think) the Labour Party conference in (I'm pretty sure)
Bournemouth. (Might have been a conference on the environment, or
something.) Anyway, Prescott made an impassioned plea for us to lessen our
pernicious dependence on non-public motorized transport some twenty
minutes after having had a chauffeur ferry him two hundred yards
(downhill, no less) from his hotel.

"Two-Jags" stuck after that, as an anti-sanctimony measure if nothing
else.
