Or Freud?  Or psychotherapy?

You've been around here long enough to know that you're skewering me with that
question.  One can appreciate the insights of Jung into "archetypes" and other
Jungian concepts without buying into Jungian psychotherapy.  For me the concept
of a "collective unconscious" is akin to the concept of a human "instinct." 
Other animals have instinct.  It should be so revolutionary to realize the man
does also.
