If anyone wants to organize a discussion re Bush and
Pynchon, and there's enthusiasm for doing so, I can't
see any reason why it should be opposed.

It's not a zero-sum game.  There's plenty of bandwidth
and no limit on the number of posts.  The Pale Fire
reading will soon coincide with one on Vineland. 
Read, delete, join in, don't.  

Some of us are reading Pale Fire.  Leave it be.
