>>>Out of 300+ (more or less) P-list subscribers (last
time I checked), and at least 6 on your list have yet
to post anything substantial in the discussion. Eugl
is correct in noting that the vast majority of
P-listers are taking no part in the Pale Fire
discussion.<<<

This is true of every discussion. Statistical analysis of NPPF reveals that
the percentage of substantial postings is up 22.5% over the postings prior
to NPPF. Pynchon-related content has increased 15.7%.
NPPF is delivering everything it promised one week prior to the starting
date. Denials of such can be refuted by a statistical analysis of the
archives. If offlist postings to me are added to the mix, the
Pynchon-related activity is more than doubled. Several Nabokovians have
complained to me offlist that the over-abundance of Pynchon related postings
are taking away from the PF focus, but I just told them, "Hey. We honor
Pynchon here. For a pure Pale Fire reading find a Nabokov list." They
grumbled that those lists are too stuffy and promised to get with the
program.

All hail the American Pynchon!
