First Keith and his number crunching, now this
nonsensical "quota" straw-man. Of course nobody has
asked for "quotas of Pynchon-related material".  What
many have asked for, and are only now beginning to
receive from noticeably reluctant (or perhaps most of
them just aren't capable of comparing/contrasting or
otherwise discussing both authors?) Pale Fire
discussants, is a discussion that focuses on Pynchon.
To some degree, our reminders of what was promised
seem to be yielding fruit, albeit curiously
under-developed and not very tasty.  It remains to be
seen if the Pale Fire readers among us can follow
through and provide the Pynchon focus that they
promised.
