My assertion above, that you offered "some kind of
mangled Charlie Chan-style English comment, after I
did you that favor" is entirely accurate.

You may not consciously be racist -- and I gave you
the benefit of the doubt in my earlier post, when I
said you should seek help to root out your unconscious
racist attitudes.  You still haven't apologized for
your earlier anti-Semitic "Millstein" diatribe.

Perhaps instead you're just an insensitive slob who,
having put his foot in his mouth, has to deny what you
said afterwards (as you did with Tim yesterday). Or
the kind of guy who just doesn't understand how
Charlie Chan english might be offensive, or how
imitating a rhetorical move that Pynchon identifies in
his _1984_ Foreword (where he talks about the
anti-Semitism inherent in the Goldstein persona) might
be offensive. 

I'd be quite happy if you never respond to my posts
again.  You keep promising not to, and then you break
your promise.
