VLVL2 (1): Vineland and Finnegans Wake

"Vineland" is mentioned in Finnegans Wake.  

Knowing how careful Joyce was in his use of structure, word choice, etc., I tried to locate (with the help of Dave Monroe) some sources that might explain Joyce's use of the word in the context of the famous "Anna Livia Plurabelle" chapter.  We couldn't find much though, and, since I may just be chasing a phantom anyways, I defer to those more knowledgeable in JJ, FW (Quail? Charles Hollander?), et al to expound upon the connection, if there is one.
