Hummers, especially the first ones, epitomize conspicuous consumption.  The
first ones combined outrageously cost with very little comfort, displaying an
owner who must have more money than sense.  Tne H2's look a little more
comfortable.  But if a vehicle should ever be charged a extra tax with each
fill-up the Hummer would qualify hands down.
