Well, I spent yesterday reading all the Pynchon Notes
Vineland essays, marking pages, making notes, so ...
so now what I need is another one o' them days to do
some serious typing, is all.  Will try to slap up
relevant passages as they appear to become of interest
here.  That Thoreen paper, though, is where we seem to
be at, plus another on Vato 'n' Blood 'n' the Yuroks
which oughtta be required reading when we get to the
them.  The entire run is an investment worth making
...
