No mention yet of Brock, Reagan, "fascism" etc as the root of all evils in
this particular representation of a slice of 1984. Seems the characters
we've met so far, none of them fools nor immune to economic and
socio-political trends, and all quite aware of their own situations, have a
much more realistic and down-to-earth approach to life and what's important
in it.
And Isaiah 4-2, with his "spirited advocacy of the Uzi as a means of
resolving many of our social problems", according to Zoyd at least (18.25),
seems almost to be right of the Right.
Both worth noting, I think.
