Of course I knew this would get a rise out of you.  I just can't muster up any
interest in this lit-crit analysis of the 1984 foreword.  All this
reader/writer theory does nothing for me.  I think I can read fairly well
without it.  In fact I think it just gets in the way of a direct experience
with a text.  But it sounds really smart...
