One wavers over whether to congratulate Millison on a
new openmindedness or to conclude he no longer bothers
even to read what he spams to the list, given that
Traub's article dismisses as "repellent" and
"grotesque" the sort of forced comparisons of the Bush
administration to "the kind of fascism Hitler brought
to Germany," Millison himself is so wont to make. 

Traub even notes, as has been noted of Millison's zeal
over US setbacks in Iraq and Afghanistan, an "element
of wish fulfillment in these prophecies of doom."
