The Cliff Notes aren't bad, although they're inaccurate. The
'95 edition, for example, has Orwell leaving India for England
with his mum at age eight, but complemented by The Foreword, 
the kids will get a good perspective of the novel, and, of course,
an introduction to the singular voice of Thomas Pynchon.
