I'm sure the seminary would be more up to date about such 
items than I am, but-

Strap-on's, I'm assuming, are never subject to detumescence,
and therefore, it would seem logical, the adjective "priapic"
would not be redundant. I retract my original objection. 

I can't imagine Isherwood and Auden, however, enjoying anything
other than natural buggery, but who's to say. I'm sure they
both had female fans. Not that object-assisted buggery is
unnatural, and who knows, the newer models may even de-
tumesce. One might begin to envision the presence of another 
live body gradually becoming more and more quaint. The line,
however, becomes a little more "bright" at the idea of a prosthetic
soul. That need at least for potential shame, if only to enhance
the experience, might be hard to do without. Desire is a funny
animal.
