As Otto says, it's easy enough to filter out what you
don't want to read. If you choose to read my posts
you'll just have to take responsibility for your
response. 

I think your math is incorrect, given the megabytes of
stuff with no conceiveable connection to Pynchon that
flows through this pipe courtesy of P-listers other
than me.

I'd be curious what constitutes an "off topic" post,
in your opinion, given your enthusiasm for a group
reading on Pynchon-L of a novel written by Nabokov.  

Among other things, I strive to explore the great,
ongoing question, how do Pynchon's writings relate to
the world in which we live?  Feel free to join me, or
not, as you like.
