EDIT Group Read Headcount

Really don't know what to do. Of course I would like to read "Vineland" with
all of you, but on the other hand I think it's strange that only the threat
of a non-Pynchon-novel group reading makes people active to put up a
VLVL-schedule.

I've begun reading "Pale Fire," just bought the German translation, because
there's still the first edition (there's no paperback) to be bought. And on
my way home I met Sabine, my favourite librarian from the university
library, who had Brian Boyd's book for me in her rucksack. I will photocopy
it completely on Monday.

What shall I do?

Elaine, do you really think we can do two readings at a time?

Please add my name to the happily schizophrenic contingent.  I'll gladly
read Vineland AND Pale Fire too.  In fact, throw in Hurakami and weave those
threads back to GR by way of Ada.  And I'll still play!
