I suggest we give fq the benefit of the doubt, Tim --
he doesn't seem to realize that many people can
actually read more than one book at a time and talk
about them.  

Of course you're not derailing anything -- there has
been talk about another Vineland reading for months. 
Not surprisingly, the rush to abandon the discussion
of Pynchon on Pynchon-L appears to have motivated
quite a few people to speak up and say they'd rather
keep the focus on Pynchon here.

It's hilarious to see fq complaining about others not
signing up to host a Pale Fire session, when he hasn't
volunteered to do so himself!  Talk about do as I say
not as I do.
