Speaing of fundamental misunderstandings about
Pynchon-L, sorry you couldn't handle a legitimate
question about whether or not it's a good idea to turn
Pynchon-L into a forum for discussing Nabokov. 

And, judging from your posts today, you're still
unwilling to move into a discussion of Pynchon. That
is too bad.  Keep it focused on personalities if you
wish, there appear to be quite a few people here who
haven't tired of talking about Pynchon yet.

I was right about one thing, of course -- you and fq
did manage to definitively shut down the Foreword to
1984 discussion when you launched this divisive
project, only to back away from it. For somebody
claims to love Pynchon-L, I find that strange
behavior. But it's an unmoderated list and you can do
as you like, of course.
