And here is Babel Fishes' translation of the first few lines of Canto
One of "Pale Flame" (as the Fish refers to it):

dark smoothness of garden, but it is better, if they, as on the carpet,
stand outside after snowfall - there, on snow, in the khrustal'neyshey
country!
