NP: Richard Flanagan

Several list members enjoyed _Gould's Book of Fish_ (first brought to my 
attention by Richard Romeo).  I'm currently reading Flanagan's earlier book 
_Death of a River Guide_, and would say that those who enjoyed Fish will 
likely enjoy River Guide as well.  It's maybe slightly less, shall I say, 
_unusual_ in it's style but still plenty quirky.  And chock full of passages 
to illustrate that, indeed, "it's a sad and beautiful world."
