So here I am in the land of money, milk & honey and should therefore not fear 
being broken down flat in my bad car...except that, like the Blues, down&out 
is a condition completely independent of place.  So yes, stay in the Tower, 
man!  Stay in the Tower if you don't want to risk the breakdown lane...
