Children of the revolution? (is: VLVL2 warm-up)

I've begun rereading _Vineland_ now in prep for the VLVL2, and I gotta tell
ya, I'm amazed at how much fun this book is and how much I missed the first
time through. Of course, the first time through for me was post-GR, so my
initial response was sorta lukewarm (as might be expected). But this book is
most definitely *not* worthy of the anathema some have bestowed upon it.
I'm looking forward to the group read!
