"Early" Scorsese film about a Vietnam vet (DeNiro as Travis Bickle) who
takes a job as a cabbie in NYC, eventually begins to go wacky, befriends a
young prostitute (Jodie Foster), becomes involved in an assassination
attempt, and watches pimp Harvey Keitel wipe his mouth about 468 times.
GREAT film!
Famous line:
[Into a mirror.]
Travis Bickle: You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? Then
who the hell else are you talkin' to? You talkin' to me? Well I'm the only
one here. Who do you think you're talking to? Oh yeah? Huh? Ok.
