>They're car thieves...just like us.

Wonderfully absurd movie. Pynchonesque in many ways.

The shadowy government agency.

The car thieves recruited to search for the aliens.

The punks with delusions of grandeur.

The love interest is a teenage CIA agent.

The lobotomized scientist on the run.

Miller, the idiot savant.

Harry Dean Stanton as .......basically Harry Dean Stanton.

The Dweeb friend in the gas station.

Everybody's chasing the piece of shit car with the aliens in the trunk,
though some think it's drugs in the trunk.

The televangelist enlisting his audience to find the car stolen from "a
little old lady".

What's with the metallic hand on the S&M ice princess agent.

And then the mighty Black Flag with:

>Don't wanna talk about it,
>We don't wanna know,
>We're just dedicated to our favorite shows!
>We've got nothing better to do,
>But watch TV and have a couple of brews,
>TV part tonight!

You can fill in the names of the reruns yourself, but I believe that
Gilligan's Island, The Jeffersons, and The Love Boat get prominent mention.

The whole thing was paid for with Wite-Out money by a former member of the
Monkees.

Peace,
Joe
