NP, NN, ND (Not Doug): Adaptation

I watched this movie last night called _Adaptation_ (by the people who made
_Being John Malkovich_), and it reminded me of some of the recent discussion
here on unreliable narrators (as well as some of the _Pale Fire_ stuff I've
been reading, and its precedents like Gide's _The Counterfeiters_).  This
movie is about a screenplay writer creating the script of the movie itself
as the movie progresses, balancing his veracity against that of a book (and
its author) which the screenplay is intended to adapt, and ultimately
leaving the audience wondering who the author was.
