I did my part today and picked a fight with a guy at work. I don't usually
do that. I asked him what was happening at the Capitol, and he sniffed at me
and asked when there was gonna be a rally for the war. So I begged his
question and asked why he wanted war, and off we went. It wasn't too ugly,
but I did call him a victim of propaganda. That seemed to hurt. He said
defensively that he got his news from right AND left sources. But when I
asked him is left source, he told me CNN.

I kind of hate him now, but I want to resist that feeling. I think tomorrow,
as a gesture of good will, I'll offer him up the Noam Chomsky booklet I just
finished reading. I've been looking for someone to pass that along to. He'll
be just the guy for "Media Control" by Noam Chomsky.
