I've actually been reading Juliet Sychrava's Schiller
to Derrida: Idealism in Aesthetics, and it's both
interesting and approachable.  Might well answer the
question, Beethoven's Op. 125, Symphony in D-minor
aside, why Schiller now?  And, while I've since gone
back and found that Simon Critchley's Continental
Philosophy: A Very Short Introduction indeed
discussing Schelling and not Schiller at length, I'm
pretty sure you still might want to check out Terry
Eagelton's The Ideology of the Aesthetic as well ...
