Not sure why you're  feeling better about it, but I
guess there is still a lot of fear out there about
what will happen if we open the big door and let
everyone in. Will we  become a bunch of solipsistic
idiolects under the shadow of a new tower of babble?
Will there be chaos? Will America split in half? Into
parts of speech? Into split infinitives and logic-less
approximations? Now, don't nobody go trippin cause ain
nobody want to  burn your white bread words in the
melting pot and toss out "standard english" with the
proscribed baby grammar of the burnt people in this
nation that has  been talkin here longer than most of
you all anyways. ALL people need to know this White
language, this language of the people that do the
affairs of the English speaking world. The harm done
by the colonizers is bad enough. We can't go out and
cut off the language of the colonizer now. Can we?
Hell no. How that language is taught, how the history
of that language is taught, what values are claimed
for it and against other languages, that's what I'm
talking about. The mastery of the Language of the
elite is necessary. But don't nobody go tellin me it's
better, smarter, more precise, more logical. That's
bull shit!
