curious about what your "natural" dialect is...the street lingo seems about 
as natural as Eugene Levy chatting up Queen Latifah in Bringing Down The 
House (or Bringin Down Da House?) but everybody seems to be able to speak a 
little yo these days.  Precision?  any patois can achieve precision.  I don't 
think that's the issue with which supporters of standard English are most 
concerned.  Clinging to standard, for me at least, is almost more 
metaphysical than intellectual, much more an issue of elegance than of 
precision.  A sharp scream or well-rendered grunt can be precise, but that 
doesn't mean it's pretty. knowwhatI'm talkinabout?
