The IRA story is no more spam than let's say publishing the homework of a
student by the MI 5 as "information" about Saddam's WMD.
I already was involved in demonstrations against Saddam and his gas attacks
and the German firms who sold him duel use material fifteen years ago. I
lived in a town where a factory, in these times owned by the German state,
sold material to both sides, to Irak and Iran, more to Iran, and nobody was
excited about that in 1987/88. It was said that these deals would save
"working places".
And, in these times, in the second half of the eighties, also in the US
nobody was excited about these rackets.
Of course I'm also convinced that only a dead Saddam is a good Saddam. But
the way the US want to overthrow him is absolutely fatal in my eyes. I think
the price is too high. It seems that the way it goes "The USA against the
rest of the world" and the degradation of the UN and the Security Council to
a meaningless "Schwatzbude" has consequences that nobody can imagine yet.
Nietzsche once said, "The state is the coldest of all cold monsters". It
seems that his opinion is confirmed now. And, believe me or not, I don't
think better about the "old Europeans". Their motives are also not very
noble. It's a question of hegemony, and Irak is the battlefield for that.

P. S.: Now I cannot receive any email of the P-List. What's going on there?
