Not just Pynch, Paul Auster has also influenced Goebbels. And -- man oh man
oh man. If you can see something by Goebbels, go. I saw his "Black on White"
last year and it blew me away. Crazy, inventive stuff -- a mix of modern
classical, absurdist theater, and acrobatics. In the realm of classical
Zappa and early Laurie Anderson crossed with "Hamletmaschine."
--Quail, blissfully -- and I mean *blissfully* -- staying out of the Ebonics
thing....
