No mention of Pynchon in the official Morris bio; although given that
"Morris" first appeared on the scene in 1968 and thus would be in his fourth
decade -- far older than any typical feline -- one suspects that "Morris" is
indeed some sort of persona or cover identity for a series of look-a-like,
pre-programmed corporate spokescats.  I say the quotation marks should stay.
