Okay, as I was the one who used the phrase but
nonetheless did none of the following, unless of
course this caricature is applied to ALL the usual
suspects here, I gotta axe, what's the bug up your ass
on this one? Especially as it's easy enough to sit
back and simply fire of the occasional (though
admittedly entertaining, even anticipated) one-liner
or otherwise oblique comment(ary? Not always quite
sure), but I can't much recall ever having any idea
whatsoever of what you might actually believe, have to
say, or otherwise hold about anything of Pynchon's
himself. Though I still much appreciate having that
Chemical Wedding of Christian Rosencranz/Lord and Lady
Lepton thing pointed out to me. I don't get this kind
of shit offlist, where people simply don't want to
deal with the kind of shit I take on ...
