1984//1985?

Been unsubscribed for a few years -- just looking through the recent archives
& noticed many posts concerning 1984 & "what Orwell REALLY meant".

Was wondering if anyone has mentioned the Anthony Burgess novel "1985"?
Still available through a number of used book outlets -- half a novel, and 
half a collection of essays & "self-interviews", it offers some interesting 
perspectives from a British author who had some familiarity with WWII, 
Orwell, British government then and now, and the modern world (including 
the US of A) that Orwell never lived to see.

Worth looking at....
