Hi Terrance

No, I'm not kidding!

I'm discussing if the new foreword of "1984" only
points to WWII or to the present too, if it's only about
the Blitz or 9/11 and the Iraq-war too.

I can accept when readers fail to see the (possible, maybe wrong)
connection but I cannot see what's wrong about the discussion.

This may be true or not, but tell me why & how you've come
to that conclusion?

Do I? I cannot remember having said so. How could I -- I haven't even
heard about the incident. I feel sorry for them and their relatives and
friends.

I don't think that any of the guys & girls, American, British, Australian or
other who have been sent to Iraq, just following their orders, deserves to
be killed. Generally I don't think anybody deserves to die, but we're
mortals cursed with the knowledge that everyone of us will die one day.

Unlike Doug I don't blame Mr. Bush for little Ali's fate but Saddam Hussein
who had every chance to avoid the upcoming war.

I really don't know, but tell me, who the fuck do you think you
are sending such ad hominem e-mails half way round the globe?
