And a handful of people here have "decided" (as if this is something that is "decided," that seems to be the issue at hand ...) that the "Foreword" in no way does, or could (or should?) refer to said recent events, said contexts, whatever.  Though, quite frankly, if this WERE up to a vote (seeing as yr all so concerned with democracy an' all ...), don't be so sure that the "ayes" wouldn't have it.  People simply don't like being dragged into business as usual here (and I can certainly understand why ...), so they don't post.  And of course the ad hominem (tres "Objectiviste," by the way, spoken like a true Ayn Randroid) stuff is to be expected.  You 'n' Morris are involved, right?  Or is that "ad hominem" as well?  I don't see you protesting Terrance's delightful little outbursts ...
