Neither "right" nor "wrong" -- why you, jbor, others
continue to bring this sort of moral judgement into
the discussion of your opinions about Pynchon's
writing remains a mystery. This is one of the
rhetorical moves that turns a discussion into an
argument.  Although it's fair to observe that in the
face of rather extreme provocation by Mackin, jbor,
Terrance, Morris, the rest of us have generally
refused the bait this time, rather gently suggesting 
a more inclusive reading of Pynchon's foreword.
