Some dictionaries provide an exceptionally full account of the idioms in
which a word is used:
by a head
by the head
give one his head
go to one's head
hang one's head
head and shoulders above
head over heels
heads up!
keep one's head
lose one's head
keep one's head above water
over one's head
put heads together
Webster's New World Dictionary
Tough enough to get those pesky prepositions-- in, on, at
just notice how long the dictionary entries are for these little guys.
now toss them into an idiom and oh girl!
