Stagnant Forward

I can't believe the discussion has stagnated on the the fourth page of
the essay. Pynchon qua Pynchon hasn't even made an appearance, but is
still functioning solely as a describer of what we think Orwell might
have thought about his times and the book. For two more pages (up to
the final sentence on p.xii) P will defer strictly to Orwell's pov. Only
then with "[if] this seems unreasonably perverse ..." does Pynchon
interject his own first two cents worth. After that it will continue to
be mostly Orwell's thoughts as recited by Pynchon, but occasionally
Pynchon will speak briefly for himself, sometimes felicitously and
sometimes not so felicitously. Anyway, to save time, from here on out,
why not concentrate on Pynchon's ideas rather than Orwell's, seeing as
this is the p-list not the o-list.
Not that anyone is going anywhere.
Duh.
P.
