After having recently finished Beckett's trilogy (I'm now halfway through
V.S.Naipal's "Among the Believers), I have to say this is very true of his
work. When reading Becket it's best to speak the words in your mind. But he
is also a very visually-oriented writer, describing scenes which he slowly
unfolds and which transform themeselves with each new detail that he reveals.
Great stuff.
