Has there ever been on this list, or is there still, a Jeffrey Baker who
wrote a PhD on Pynchon at Purdue University, submitted in 1995? If you're
out there Jeffrey, or if anyone has ever had any contact with him, I'd like
to get in touch.
Ah, resistance is futile... As an aside on the 'Foreword' discussion: I'm
relieved Pynchon writes very few essays; the 'Ellipse of Uncertainty' drawn
by his novels is much more becoming.
