Unfortunately, you judge value based on (a) whether or not a proper name is attached to a post, as if that means a derned thing in an e-community, and (b) how often people post, as if that means anything, either. Anonymity and frequency are not sole reasons to judge what anyone says in a forum such as this. All we have in this forum is supported and supportable text. Deal with the text.

For you to accuse anyone of posting little of insight, or to "dragging down" the quality of discussion, is a joke. You have no concept of self.

And as you say, we all have our opinions. Those are mine, anonymous and infrequent as they are. Shove 'em where you like, eejit.

Whatever. We've all got our own opinions. He's good at providing
bibiographies, but short on independent insights. But he's real good at
pompous posturing and avoiding direct discourse.

Doug, though, has single-handedly succeeded in dragging this list down to the
lowest levels it's seen in years, starting with his accusations of "Holocaust
deniers" back in the last GRGR, because all he cares about is getting
attention, good or bad. That's why I can't stand his defenders. They
contribute to his delusions and to the general decline here.

But, like I said, we've all got our own opinions.
