I think we appreciate your occasional sense of humor, Terrance, though
probably with at least some trepidation. But many of your posts are
confusing. Sometimes I give up in frustration because they're so lengthy,
and I can't make a connection to your point fast enough.

When I saw you criticize Paul Nightingale's post the other night--that five
or six phase dandy he wrote on the Foreword--I was troubled enough to almost
write then. It certainly didn't deserve your initial rude response. It was
perhaps the best post on the Forward so far. What I liked especially about
it then was how it looked juxtaposed to yours, how clear and orderly and
easy to understand it was. It was what my old grammar professor would call
"reader friendly". He even numbered the phases for us! And predictability!
Yes, yes! (No apology indeed!) When you click a Paul Nightingale,
Terrance, you know just where he's gonna be standing when it opens up. But
your posts, Terrance, God, we're not even sure which ball park you're gonna
be in.
I'm sorry to say it. I'm not demeaning anybody's right to post whatever
crap, spam, or propaganda they please--it's just when you go trying to pick
splinters out of your brothers' eyes....well you know.
