Ok, I must say that it just occurred to me that there is a budding
example of avant-garde meeting (crashing into?) commerce by intention.
Here is the site, http://www.barbatuques.com.br/barbatuques2/index.htm
and here is the music... oh wait, can't attach... ok, it's a group that
"develops music based on the explorations of numerous sounds that can be
produced by the human body. Claps, startles, taps, slaps, voice effects
and other various sounds, are used in the production of rhythms and
melodies. In all the work Brazilian rhythms such as samba, baião, afoxé
and maracatu are present."

Yes, I own their disc, having had to go all the way to Brazil via Amazon
to get it...

Perusing their site, however, shows the interesting attempt by the group
to strap on the commercial powerup by attending music industry
get-togethers and so on. By the way, the music is highly recommended.
