Nope, as these spybots burrow into the registry and cover themselves up
as some sort of necessary program, file, by co-opting Windows extensions
and so on.  I only half-understand this stuff, but these buggers make
themselves appear legit AND necessary... sounds like some Administration
programs... 

In any event, you need something like Ad-Aware to do a deep (and time
consuming) audit of your system regularly.
