Well, the dossier she opens here is similar too but also very different
from the one Slothrop opens on the train. She's wasn't sold like a "side
of beef" (as Slothrop thinks he was by his father to Bland & C0. to pay
for his Harvard education) but she complains about Zoyd and I-24
treating her like a side of beef (I-24 can't help but say, Pork). Given
the deep shit she seems top be (BV after her) in and her Mother Quest
she has to trust some people. But Zoyd is not one of them. Not sure she
trusts him on a lot of things. He's out of the picture now anyway. She
has no reason to distrust I-24 and their parting was not a matter of
trust or mistrust, but of her following the yellow brick road.  Not sure
she trusts DL or Sister. She's on a Quest. And, she's on the verge of
adulthood, as you said. Her Education includes Sex-Ed. She doesn't get
the homosexual stuff at all.
